Review a recorded release journey
This ordinary website has two buttons named Review. Playwright recorded each click; Leaf's comments identify the captured action, image or saved element. Each click is a bar spanning its recorded call, so the review shows what the page looked like before, during and after it.
Waiting for a Playwright recording.
Review scenarios
- Step through the timeline to review page actions and browser setup calls together. Recordings with several browser pages offer All pages and individual page filters; a single-page recording needs no selector.
- Select Documentation reviewed or API reviewed on the timeline. Hover a flag to read its moments' names and times; moments too close to label apart share one flag. Zoom in, or pinch, to separate them; scroll sideways to pan, and Whole recording restores the overview.
- Drag along the ruler, or drag the playhead, to scrub. Between captures the readout names the capture on screen and when it was taken.
- Start playback and scroll down over the captured image until the controls leave the screen. Playback continues during wheel scrolling and vertical touch swipes. Return to the controls to pause, or tap the image to inspect it.
- Use Fit image, Actual size, or image zoom to inspect captured pixels. Drag the image to pan, or focus it and use arrow keys. Step through a click’s Before, Action and After checkpoints on one timeline. Each image and saved tree shows its own capture time.
- Intermediate filmstrip images share the action timeline. Left and Right step through its captured stops; Home keeps the first available image visible with its capture time.
- Comment on one saved Review button, move to another action, and follow the thread back. It returns to that action and tree path.
- Comment on an image or draw on it. Following the thread restores that exact captured image.
